Mount Moosilauke, at 4,802 feet, ranks 10th in elevation on a list of 48 New Hampshire peaks over 4,000 feet established by the Appalachian Mountain Club. Its rocky, treeless summit affords hikers a panoramic view including the White Mountains, Green Mountains and Adirondacks. Dartmouth College has long been associated with the mountain through its ownership of the mountain, the Moosilauke Ravine Lodge, and its maintenance of its many trails.
